The purpose of the KCCADV shall be to provide services to the victims of domestic violence primarily to Kankakee and Iroquois Counties. The KCCADV shall:


a) Provide a forum for the exchange of information and skills between groups/individuals committed to family violence prevention.

b) Develop projects for systemic reform.

c) Provide advocacy for comprehensive family violence legislation.

d) Provide community educational and professional training.

e) Develop necessary auxiliary services.

f) Discover and develop funding sources for programs.

g) Engage in activities which contribute to the elimination of family violence.

Harbor House / Kankakee County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (KCCADV ) is a not-for-profit organization that has been providing comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence for more than 25 years.  Although Harbor House's primary clients are women and children in Kankakee and Iroquois Counties in Illinois, it also provides shelter to women seeking refuge from domestic violence from other parts of the State, Country and World.
