Our volunteers play a crucial role in various aspects of our operations, from assisting with events and fundraising efforts to providing direct support to those in need.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our Volunteer Program offers a range of opportunities to match your interests and skills, including:

    • Direct Support: Provide emotional support, resources, and assistance to survivors in our shelters or on our helpline.
    • Advocacy and Outreach: Raise awareness about domestic violence, participate in community events, and advocate for policies that support survivors.
    • Administrative Support: Assist with office tasks, data entry, fundraising efforts, and other administrative duties to keep our organization running smoothly.
    • Special Events: Help plan and execute fundraising events, workshops, and awareness campaigns to support our mission.

Please note that some opportunities, especially those involving direct interaction with survivors, require a 40-hour domestic violence training certification.
